We do provide insurance, though we do everything we can to make sure it’s unnecessary. As art lovers dedicated to protecting and preserving art, safeguarding your piece is absolutely our number-one priority.
Because we know that sometimes the value of your piece is not tied to its monetary value, your art is covered both by formal insurance and our Art Care Guarantee. In the unlikely event that your art is lost or damaged, we will offer to replace your artwork; or (if irreplaceable) reimburse you for its value. The process varies by the value of your artwork.
- For artwork valued under $300, we will handle this right away through either replacement or our Art Care Guarantee.
- For art valued greater than $300, you will need to provide proof of value such as a receipt or third-party appraisal.
- For items up to $1,000, we will replace the art, if possible, or we will refund you within 10 days of your claim.
- For items exceeding $1,000, we will reimburse or replace your artwork as soon as the claim has been processed by our insurance company. Our insurance and Art Care Guarantee policy can be read in full here.
